Brightside Entertainment hold the following documentation which is available on request or by clicking a link if there is one.

Terms and Conditions.

From here onwards the hirer will be referred to as “Client” and Brightside Entertainment as “Us or We”.

Although there is an availability checker on the Brightside Entertainment website, this should be used as approximate information and the client should wait until we have contacted them in the agreed timeframe before they can assume availability. If booking one of our Live acts, we will need to check with the individuals to make sure that they are still available on the date that the client has requested.

When the client receives an online quote there is no obligation from either parties (Us or the Client) to enter into a final contract. Quotes are free but no booking is guaranteed until the client has entered in to correspondence with us, paid a deposit and received a confirmation back.

We will always do everything we can to ensure that when a booking has been secured by a client (paying a deposit of at least £150 for single bookings and £200 for packages) that the chosen service will be supplied at the agreed time on the agreed date.
We do however reserve the right to offer a similar act of the same caliber or greater as a suitable replacement. However because there are all sorts of things that cannot be foreseen in general when arranging an event like a wedding or party, we recommend taking out event insurance.
Occasionally we may need to replace a member of the live acts at short notice, but again we will do our best to ensure that there is a little change to the original plan as possible.

All deposits are non-refundable, however this doesn’t affect the clients statutory rights. If a client needs to change the date of an event, this still may be possible subject to the availability on the new date in mind. Any fees due (if any) to change the date would be payable by the client.  Please make sure you have adequate event insurance in place.
Please note that if you are booking for an event less than 8 weeks in advance then no deposit is necessary, however full payment will need to be received no less than 4 weeks beforehand (unless otherwise arranged with us).

Performance Licenses
It will be the responsibility of the client to make sure that the venue (if it is not a private residence) has all the relevant entertainment license in place and let us know as soon as possible if they do not. We may be able to look in to obtaining a license on the Client’s behalf.

Fair Usage Policy
In order to help your event go as smoothly as possible and for the enjoyment of everyone attending,  it may be necessary on occasions to implement our “Fair Usage Policy”.
This usually happens when a guest has spent more time than anyone else using our services (such as the magic mirror) and in doing so, has constantly prevented others from using it. If we deem this is necessary, the individual or individuals involved will be issued a limited number of tokens, each allowing them one visit to the Mirror and once these are used up they will not be able to use the service any more during the event. It is extremely rare that we need to do this, and it is usually children who need this measure in place.

We may record images from any function and use these, either on, other related sites or in advertising material. The faces of people under 18 years of age will be blurred out for their privacy, should you wish the same for adults at your event please let us know prior to booking. Comments made about our services may also be used in a similar manner. If you would prefer an image or a comment provided by you to be removed from the website you should email
